School of the Golden Tiger Kung Fu

We are a Temple style of Kung Fu emphasizing the five formed fist styles of Crane, Tiger, Snake, Dragon, and Praying Mantis. Wing Chun is also part of our lineage and training. Kung Fu is taught on the assumption that it is only to be as self-defense in dire situations.

Students will not only learn self-defense but also:

  • Mediation
  • Breath Control
  • Stance Work
  • Transitions
  • Foot and Hand Techniques
  • Joint-Locks
  • Throws and Break-Falling
  • Animal Forms

What ties all this together is an intense study of proper body mechanics. Once a functional understanding of these skill sets is demonstrated the Animal Forms will be taught. Underlying the entire training process is the practice of meditation to accompany the principles of Taoism and Buddhism.
